Abstract
Non-occlusive mesenteric ischemia (NOMI) is fatal complication that compromises mesen-teric vascular flow in patients with underlying comorbidities. If hepatic portal venous gas is found on imaging studies, the prognosis for patients with NOMI is poor. We present a case of recurrent NOMI with three attacks, showing a variety of clinical manifestations including massive hepatic portal venous gas. (J Acute Care Surg 2014;4:43-47)
